TELAGA WARNA LAKE

Scene 1

Long long ago there was a kingdom in west java. The kingdom was ruled by a king.

The King : I feel happy and satisfied today. I have governed the kingdom in

west java for a long time, so there is no crusial problem.

Let’s eat and drink in this salvatum…

The Queen : Yes, you do,Prabu. You are so kind and wise. I am proud of you,

Prabu.

(The queen eats grape and a little hot tea)

The Old man : Thank’s your majesty,Prabu. (by holding a glass of water)

I think you are the best king. Most people can live happily and

peacefully.

The Old woman : As for I know, our kingdom is prosperous.

There;s no hunger anymore.

Scene 2

Suddenly the Queen keeps silent, burring her face and covering by her hands crying amd dropping the tears.

The King : What’s going on with you honey?

The Queen : I am sad, my life is meaningless. I am so alone.

Your majesty is success, but we have no children.

The Oldman : Pardon me, Prabu. It is better for you adopt the children.

The Old woman : Yes, That the best choice.

The Queen : No, thank you.

But for us our own daughter or son is better than adopted

children.

The King : I’m going to go to the jungle

And pray to God everyday till our dream come true.

The Queen : Thank Prabu, finally I get pregnant.

The King : Really! How can I express my felling ? I am so happy.

(by rubbying his Quen stomach)

People : Here are the present and gifts from your people.

We are happy to herar that.

The King : thank’s in advance, my people.

Nine months later….

The Queen : I am glad, God gives us a princess.

The King : Yes, I love her much. Let’s me hug and kiss.

People : Ex cus me, prabu. I come here bringing all gifts from all people

around The kingdom. They are happy.

Scene 3

The Oldman : The King an the Queen are bre happy now. Because the Princess

grows more beautiful. Now she is 17 years old and usually people

bring many gift

The Old woman : Prabu and Queen love their daughter very much.

They always give whathever she want.

It make princess a very spoiledm girl. When her wish cannot be

realized, she becomes very angry.

The OLdman : Yes, you are right. A true princess will not do that eventhough the

Princess is bad her parens love her, so do the people kingdom.

Scene 4

The Princess : Pap, I want a BLACKBERRY mobile phone, so that I can make

chatting

and watching TV program or video calling with all my friend.

The King : What for, my dear. You don’t need that now.

I just want to give you the usual mobile phone.

The most important thing that It can be as means of communication.

The Princesss : No, Papa. I want the most expensive and the highest mobile phone

technology.

If not. I will escape away.

The Queen : Ok…don’t cry my dear. We will fulfill your wish.

The Princess : Thank you Mom and Pap. You are so kind to me.

The King : My people in the kingdom are so kind to us. Their present gifts are

very beautiful. I collect the presents.

How can I do with these all, my Queen?

The Queen : Prabu, There are really many presents. It’s better forus to store

them in a

building. Sometimes, we can take them to give to our people.

The King : That’s good idea.

Scene 5

The King : I take some gold and jewels and I bring here to you the Gold Smith.

The Gold Smith : Yes, your majesty,Prabu. What can I do for you?

The King : My daughter get 17 years old now. I want to make her birthday.

The Gold Smith : Yes, I know Prabu.

The King : Please make a beautiful necklace for my daughter.

The Gold Smith : My pleasure,your majesty. I will work with all my heart and ability.

I want to create the most beautiful necklace in the world, because I also love the Princess very much

The King : Thank a lot.

The Gold Smith : You’re welcome, Your majesty.

Scene 6

The birthday comes, The King, Queen, Old man, Old woman, Princess and people gather in front of the casatle. They are happy.

The Old man : Good morning every body. How are you?

We’d like to announce that today is the Princess Birthday.

The King : Thank’s, My beloved people

(get up from the chair)

Princess throw the necklace. The beautiful necklace is broken. The gold and jewel are spread out on the floor. Every body admire her. An Old woman gives Prabu a small a glamorous pillow. A wonderful necklace is on it. Prabu takes that and gives to the princesss.

Everybody can’t say anything. They never think that beloved princesss will do that cruel thing. No body speak in their silence people hear the Queen Crying. Everybody Crying.

The lake sinks the Kingdom

Nowadays, the water on that lake is not as ful las before. There is only a small lake now. People call lake “ Telaga Warna”. It means “ Lake of colour”. It located in Puncak, west java. On a bright day,the lake is full colour. So beautiful and amazing. These colour come from shadow of forest, but some people said that the colour are from thre princess necklace which spreads at the bottom of the lake.
